I can’t tell you how happy I am with the results of Latisse.  This discovery has made a real change in my life.

Twenty years ago I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer which required a double mastectomy.  After surgery a chemotherapy regime was recommended; the treatment not only took  my hair, but also my eyelashes and eyebrows.   In an attempt to look normal, I began to use individual permanent eyelashes, which I glued to the few fragile eyelashes remaining. 

Every morning I had to dedicate at least fifteen minutes to filling in the lashes which fell out while sleeping or cleansing my face.  I had to carry additional eyelashes, glue, and tweezers everywhere I went in order to make repairs.  I can tell you the entire situation was depressing.

When I read about Latisse I didn’t think it was possible, but it was!  I now have full eyelashes and was elated to throw out the false lashes.  Applying eye makeup is now a pleasure and I am so thankful to the physician who gave me and many other cancer survivors the ability to put one of the daily reminders of the ravages of cancer behind.
